The moment I opened this bottle, it was like awakening a sleeping giant. The 1959 Richebourg by Henri Jayer speaks of its time with a subtle, yet commanding voice. On the nose, it unfurls aged berry aromas so exquisitely, you’ll find yourself contemplating the whispers of history. On the palate, the depth of tannins and a silken body evoke the rich soil from which it was born, balanced in an incomparably harmonious dance. The finish lingers with a hint of spice, as if watching a scene from Yutaka’s life unfold. A truly luxurious experience.
